15th Annual CLW Convocation

The Carolinas Lutheran Women joyfully invite the Women of Faith to the 15th Annual CLW Convocation—”Lettuce Gather With Jesus for Nacho Average Convocation“! Get ready for a day filled with vibrant fellowship, flavorful mission stories, and a fiesta of faith!

This year’s convocation will be seasoned with a Mexican Fiesta 🪅 flair! Each congregation is invited to bring a “street vendor-style” display to showcase how we’re spicing up mission and ministry in our communities. From salsa-sweet stories of service, to hot tamale testimonies, congregations will share how Jesus’ light guides our ministry! Whether we’re guacamole-deep in outreach, or just planting seeds of faith, come be inspired and uplifted by what God is doing in and through His people!

(Registration and “Street Vendor” Table Set-up begins at 8:30am).

REGISTRATION:

The Women of Faith will pay the $10 Registration Fee for Faith Lutheran Women. Register Online at https://forms.gle/aaLDryp3uNanBYFB6.
Registration should be completed by September 30th.

WHAT TO BRING:

In-Kind Gifts go to Providence Home (list of donation items on CLW website).
Offering will be collected for Carolinas Lutheran Women to be used as needed.

Day Camp 2025 at Organ Lutheran Church

You are invited to invest in the faith life of your family at 2025 Day Camp, July 6-11, at Organ Lutheran Church! We believe growing in faith and devoting our lives to Jesus Christ is a top priority, and would love for you (Volunteers) and/or your youth (Campers) to join us! Organ and Union Lutheran Church are sponsoring the event, with help from Faith and Salem Lutheran.

  • “God Left the 99 for ME!” (based on Luke 15:4)
  • For Children Ages 5 to 5th Grade

  • Campers will participate in interactive singing, crafts, engaging Bible study, games, and more fun!

Day Camp Schedule

Orientation begins on Sunday (July 6th) at 4:30pm with campers and parents meeting the volunteers and pastors, enjoying a meal together, and learning about the upcoming week.

Day Camp is from 8:30am to 12:30pm, Monday (July 7th) through Friday (July 11th).

On Friday (July 11th) at 12:00pm, a closing program will be held for family and friends, with lunch provided.

Volunteers

We need YOUR help to make this event a success – Adult, and Middle / High School VOLUNTEERS. Interested? Talk with your pastor and fill out the Volunteer Registration Form, one per person!

Registration Forms

Campers and Volunteers will have T-shirts. Please mark shirt size and youth or adult on the registration form. To guarantee T-shirt sizing, please submit your registration form(s) by June 22nd!

The total cost to parents is $50.00 per child with a maximum registration of $100.00 per family. Scholarships are available for the total fee if needed. Speak with the pastor of your home church.

If you’re looking for fun activities for your child(ren) to participate in this summer, our local Lutheran churches (Rowan and Iredell County) are offering a variety of Vacation Bible School events throughout June and July! Here’s the list:

June 2025 VBS

  • June 8–12, Organ Lutheran Church in Salisbury – “True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World”
  • June 9–12, Union Lutheran Church in Salisbury – “Rise Up with Jesus”
    • 6:00pm-8:30pm (light dinner included).
    • Intergenerational, All Ages

  • June 20–22, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Salisbury – “Mary, Martha, and Many Faithful Women of the Bible”
